Watercraft Rental Policies & Procedures

We would like you to be well informed of our policies and procedures, so please take a moment to read them through. All funds received must be in the name of the person making the initial reservation.

The maximum number of occupants per boat is strictly enforced. All renters are required to complete the entire orientation before the boat is released.

Age Restrictions

Renters of any small watercraft must be 21 years of age or older. Renters must be 25 years of age or older to rent on all major holiday weekends. A valid driver’s license is required upon check-in.

Reservation Procedure

A booking fee equal to one day’s rent is due within seven days of making your reservation. The booking fee is double on major holiday weekends.

Final Payment

For multiple-day rentals, your balance is due on arrival. We accept money orders, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Remaining balances paid by card will be subject to a handling fee. You may pay by personal check only if we receive it 75 days before your scheduled arrival.

Cleaning & Damage Deposit

Upon check-in, we require a refundable cleaning and damage deposit equal to one day’s rent for patio boats, and $500 for ski boats and $1000.00 for personal watercraft in the form of cash or authorization on a credit card. All cleaning and damage deposits are double on holidays and holiday weekends. Holidays include Memorial Day Weekend, Mother’s Day Weekend, Fourth of July, and Labor Day Weekend.

Damage Waiver Fee

An optional damage waiver fee is available for small boat rentals, excluding personal watercraft. This fee is daily and non-refundable.

Cancellations, Refunds, & Changes Policy

Any cancellation received 14 days or more before scheduled arrival date will result in a full refund. Any cancellation made within 14 days of scheduled arrival will result in the entire loss of booking fee. All cancellations must be in writing.

Refunds

We do not refund for weather, lake level, or location of the marina. If your reservation has been paid in full, it is not refundable for any reason.

Changes

Please make sure the reserved dates are correct. A $100 fee will be charged for a change in dates of reservations made within 14 days of your scheduled check-in date. This includes the shortening of and moving dates of your reservation. If you choose to shorten or move your dates once paid in full, you will not receive any money back, and a credit will not be issued. If you choose to move your dates or shorten your reservation from summer to value season, there will be no price adjustment. If you change reservation dates from value season to the summer season you are subject to rate increases.

Fuel

Gas tanks are filled at renter’s expense upon return of rental. Please note that auxiliary gas cans or containers are not allowed on Antlers Marina docks and rental vessels. Thank you.

Returned Check Fee

There is a $25.00 fee for any returned checks.
